Mind Altering Animation By Andreas Hykade

German animator, Andreas Hykade created a fractal like short called Love & Theft for the National Film Board of Canada’s annual online contest. Hykade has been working as a freelance filmmaker since 1992 and has been a professor of Animation at the School of Arts and Design Kassel since 2000.

Loving this one: Mattel have taken the action figure one step further and brought them into the realm of augmented reality.
The dedicated site for the Avatar Action Figures features various characters, creatures and vehicles from the movie.
A unique aspect of these action figures is that they can interact with each other to a certain extent. These is also a Game feature on the Action figures micro site.

Believe it or not the above shot is in-game. Just about all aspects of the vehicles are customisable including the exterior paint work.
The above vehicle has taken me 3 days to skin. The bulk of the work was spent using primitive shapes to create the Mr Horsepower – Clay Smith Logo
